Working for Democracy Across Georgia & America

ACTION creates ACTION!

Get Involved Right Now!

Here's how you can take action right now. We are making calls. We are campaigning. We are getting out the vote. We are writing post cards. We are writing letters to editors. We are registering people to vote. We are meeting our senators and representatives. We are attending Georgia legislative committee hearings. We are writing press releases. We are talking to our neighbors and the community.  We are showing up for Democracy!

Important Meeting Announcement

DECEMBER 11 - 6:30-8:30. One week after the runoff election, indivisible Georgia District 10 will hold an elections Debriefing Meeting at the Athens-Clarke County library, Conference Room C. We will capture lessons learned from the 2018 elections with a concentration on Voter Registration, Get Out The Vote, and Election Observations. The information will guide our work for elections in 2020.

Are you concerned about voting machines and voting practices? Have you seen or experienced problems voting problems?

Georgia’s Secure, Accessible, and Fair Elections Commission will be meeting Thursday, December 12, 2018 in Macon from 10:00 am-4:00 pm to discuss voting machine changes/updates. Here is an opportunity to stand up and make Georgia support fair and open elections. We need accountability from our legislature and governor. Your presence and voice at this meeting can demonstrate we are serious about Democracy in Georgia.

Join Indivisible Georgia 10 members and attend this meeting. You can speak if you would like to make a statement or provide support by your presence. We need to pack the house, make our opinions known and expect transparency in the voting changes before 2020. Carpooling from Athens is being organized. Contact Vicki Krugman at vkrugman@charter.net or 706.202.9636 if you would like to join our group.

Mission

We are the Georgia District 10 chapter of the national Indivisible organization. In order to affect positive change we must stand up to our Congressman and Senators and hold them accountable for their votes. Together, we have the power to resist, and we have the power to win. In order to work together to achieve this goal we must model the values of inclusion, fairness, respect, and nonviolence.
